Yeah, a friend at school told me about them after he saw a write up in GQ. I'm hoping he buys a pair so I can see them close up before I need a new pair of frames.

The GQ article tipped me off. I went to the site a couple days later and all of their home try-on options were gone (which was the enticement of the company, as pointed out by the article). I haven't bothered since, but I guess I'll check them out again.

In fact over the last year, I've bought 5 pairs of Glasses for $178 (~$35 each)
And that include a $19 upcharge($95) because I need a prism correction, which most people don't therefore on average costing $16.50 each

im going to also say warby parker because i like their service of sending you 5 glasses to try for 5 days, free of charge (even shipping). i used it twice before finding a pair i liked- and your under no obligation to buy any of them either. so worst case scenario you at least get to figure out what kind of glasses you like if you end up shopping else where.

I have probably the worst eyesight of anyone I know, and I just got glasses for $120 through Warby Parker. Even when I had vision insurance, glasses have always been like $300 for me, so Warby Parker has been kind of awesome. I also have another pair from Cohen's that I got a few years ago out of their $100 frames case. The lenses were (of course) extra, but still not a terrible deal.

I also don't have vision insurance, which is ridiculous.
