I disagree. I said this in the other thread, but in the comic, when we first meet Lori and Shane, hadn't she already put a stop to their thing, and was regretful of it? And wasn't it just something that happened one time? That makes her way more sympathetic than if they're having an ongoing thing that continues right up until the point when Rick comes back.
In the comic it was more of a battlefield fling. Like we cut in right after they've done battle with some baddies, and they both just wanna feel something other than terror and blood all over them so they screw. That was it. Lori put a stop to it immediately because she felt all bad about it. He was pissy about it.
I guess to me it just doesn't look that good in the show because obviously just scaring a woman wouldn't normally get you in the sack, and scaring a woman who's alone out in the woods without a weapon during a zombie apocalypse definitely relegates you to the doghouse, but she almost throws herself down on the ground ready for some action. That doesn't seem like a first time thing to me. And when they both stop, look at the wedding ring on the necklace, and then she just takes it off and starts to take a pounding? It's like they had every chance to say, 'Let's wait for awhile,' and yet don't. That explain it a bit better?
