If you would be interested in UMPING for fake baseball, please respond here.

Umping a game used to take me like an 1.5/2 hours, so there is a pretty big time commitment necessary. So, I'm interested in finding out if there are people on here who would be willing to ump a game maybe once a week, or at the minimum once every two weeks.

I'm not particularly worried about finding managers or players. The umps are really the toughest piece of the puzzle.

Not really sure if I'm going to get anything going or not, but just sending out a trial balloon. (Note: I'm not sure that I would have time to ump....)

I think that I could probably ump one game a week. To really do it, we'd need at least 4 umps (preferably 6) who could do a game every week or two.

Also, I'm a little concerned about last-fm. you have to sit through effing commercials before you can hear someone's station. And also, it seems like there's a weird thing going on where a station plays the same 2 or 3 songs every time you pull them up. you have to get through the first few songs to start getting to the "deep cuts" of people's stations. So, that could be a problem.

someone told me the pther day that they could only listen to like 3 songs before it said somehting to the effect of, "if you want to listen to more, you gotta pay." is that true?

I've been listening to Concept radio all morning, and have not yet been cut off.

I'd probably be able to do one night game a week, I'd have to have a window open with all the rules though so I could check it. I kind of seem to like everything, so it would probably lead to annoyingly high scoring games.

definitely not true. we painted our house all weekend and i used last.fm as my source of music for hours and hours

This seems to happen to people outside of the US or if they are streaming to something other than their computer. On my TV (well, on my Roku), I have a LastFM app but it won't let me play anything unless I sign up for the premium membership.

i would be totally interested in umping a game now that i have access to the computer again but it would have to be between the hours of 10am and 4:00pm or after 11pm - 2:00am

I haven't been here in a while so i would need to study the rules a bit before hand.
