Here's the difference between me and b&g. If I say, "hey, you seem to like men a lot," it's not meant as an insult or a reason to be defensive. If b&g says, "hey, you seem to like men a lot," he means it as a bad thing, or as something to be defensive about. I literally do not care who you fuck, or even if you like to fuck. I'm not gonna be fucking you, so that's about where my interest ends.
Of course, in this thread, I was just continuing the joke that Larry started. I thought the part about his pig being a pedigreed pot belly was funny. Hey, someone has to smile at my jokes, it may as well be me. Tough crowd, tough crowd...
Re: comedy, I think people who go to comedy clubs often laugh out of nervousness, and then relief when/if the comedian is actually funny. I haven't gone to many comedy clubs though, so I'm not being definitive. I like a lot of standup, but I'm also really into punny humor so it takes lot for a rambler like David Cross or Eddie Izzard or Patton Oswalt to make me love them (and I love all of those comedians' acts).
Nuff of this, I'll take it to the standup thread and get beat down by the comedy connoisseurs over there. Nothing an Ashland Elbow can't fix!
