these guys are some of my best friends and they dont return my phone calls either.
but yeah, band is in the process of blowing up right now. got a lot of crazy offers coming their way.
new full length and a billion splits hopefully before the world ends in december 2012.
(im typing this from kate's aunts house... im in this weird bedroom. i think its some girls and shes off to college or something. i dont feel comfortable)

They really are that good live. They play tight and look like they're having a pretty good time. They played here with The Anchor and Stymie on Monday and everyone loved them.

Love that split! Kicking Spit Lp is awesome too. Wish I could have seen stymie last time they were here but I was leaving for insub that night. bummer.

All 3 should be considered for Insub next year. Need some new blood up in that shit!

NOOOOO offense whatsoever to the Unloveables, but despite the fact that I've never heard the BRG split, I like Lipstick Homicide about 1000x's time more than anything on Heartsickle.

I want bands that have sugar in the SONGWRITING, but GRIT in the production and presentation.

Been going to punk shows for about 30 years. Have seen Screeching Weasel and Green Day multiple times in the EIGHTIES, and I gotta say, LH ranks right up there in the best pop-punk bands I've ever seen.

They really were that fucking good in San Diego.

For me, anyway, it is because I finally saw them live. I don't think they have a record out yet that is gonna get them recognized as much as their live set will.

I hope they stay a four-piece for their shows. There's plenty going on with the guitar that works way better live with two of them.
