Re: Grimm: Some of the writing and acting needs to tighten up (the blonde lady is particularly bad, especially the scene under the bridge with the mugger), but I still enjoyed the episode.

I'm actually digging Once Upon a Time which is weird cause I'm not usually into that kinda stuff. The one thing that turns me off about it is because it's the writers from lost. I hope this show actually gives some answers to the plot and doesn't lead me on the whole time.

also, tonight i thought it'd be hilarious if rumplestiltskin actually stole the baby, but then spent the rest of the show doing boring, everyday parent stuff

I watched the first episode of Grimm this weekend and it was SO BORING. The best part was the bludbad guy who helps Nick. And I just had to spend far too much time looking up how to spell "bludbad."

Haha, I was trying to figure out what real world Rumplestiltskin was even going to do with a baby. It was also pretty cool that he killed Cinderella's fairy godmother.

Grimm is awesome. Kelly Lynn is wrong as always. Once Upon a Time is SO BAD. Like, in every conceivable way. I guess if you like Disney versions of fairy tales though, it would be up your alley.

First two Grimms were just awful. Production value's there, but, yeah, fuck. Enjoying the other one more, but it's also dumb as shit. I've already said this in this thread probably.

Yeah. The first two episodes of Grimm were awesome. The first two episodes of OUAT were corny and unbearable and absolutely no fun at all. Not to mention they actually included Maleficient and the seven Dwarves, which is dumb as shit.

I pretty much agree with the bolded part, but I still liked it more. Gonna check out the 3rd Grimm and 4th Snow White and My Balls tonight.

I wasn't really into the last Grimm episode but at least they are moving the story into a bigger arc and not just one off stories. I'll likely watch this just because it's enjoyable enough and it's set/shot in the town I live in.

They just shot right near my work, which was pretty cool.

Yeah I like that they introduce a bit of new lore in each episode, and provide new bits of each character gradually. I mean its basically in Supernatural or Smallville territory as far as self contained episodes. But I find the cast enjoyable enough, as well as the setting.

That would be awesome. I'd be way into that. I'll keep my eye out for the casting call saying they need a doughy bearded bespectacled extra.
