YES! that was something i thought was missing from the last game, they made those challenges so fun but they gave you nothing in terms of game play (like no secret weapons upgrades or bonuses like that).

I usually hate challenges like this, but on Arkham Asylum, I didn't put the game down until I had 100% completion. I'm REALLY stoked for tho game to get here in the mail today....too bad I have stupid job interviews all day and won't be able to play it until like 6. Jobs are terrible for people that want to play video games.

100% with you, Crusher. I never ever do side missions and shit like that because I already take way too long playing the main storyline but I could not stop working through the Riddler stuff.

I will be buying the shit out of this. I bought Arkham Asylum for me, and my kid ended up way surpassing me. So I think I'll just watch him play this.

This thread made me realize that I never played Arkham Asylum and also that it was released on the PC, so $10 and Steam are remedying this problem. When Arkham City comes out for the PC in a month I'll be so pumped to talk about a game everyone is over already.

the riddler challenges in AA were kinda okay, but i stopped doing them when i realized that they didn't really affect the main game. interested to see how they are integrated in the game this time around.

i absolutely hate the riddler trophy shit though. was never a fan of collecting coins in mario and shit, and this is the same basic concept. shit blows.

I watched Chadd play this for a while last night. It seemed kinda stupid since the game was telling you exactly what to do. I don't know. It also seemed way too easy to beat up a gang of 10 dudes.

I like the combat; it makes you feel like Batman to be able to swiftly take down a gang of 20 guys. The navigation in this game is frustrating as hell though; it's hard to really get a grasp on the geography. I'm sure I'll get the hang of it eventually though.
