Hello there golfers, hurry to sign up and partcipate in the 1st Annual Libby's Canned Pumpkin Thanksgiving 2011 LastFM Best Ball Match Play Tournament.

"WTF is the 1st Annual Libby's Canned Pumpkin Thanksgiving 2011 LastFM Best Ball Match Play Tournament?" It will feature teams of two players teeing it up on the LastFM links, contending for the coveted Orange Jacket.

The format will work like this:
Each team will consist of two golfers with one of them being designated the captain. Matches will pit two teams against each other, match play style with each golfer hitting his tee shot. I will list each player's "shot" and the catch is, the team captain will then select which ball he'd like to play, his or his partner's, so then I'll judge them accordingly. Each hole will be best 2 out of 3.

With the previous foursome taking FOREVER to get off the first tee the next group has asked to play through. They are granted the right-of-way and one by one they pull driver and try to bomb one down the fairway!

I like this band, I have one of their albums but I don't think it's this one...this song is a lot of fun and I'll give it a solid 8.

You know, for all the talk they get around here, I've never really checked out The Houseboats before...this reminds me a lot of the Steinways...wonder why that is?? This song is pretty short but it's good, it seems to be about growing up or something. I'll award it a 6.

Donutman drives a solid tee shot right down the middle of the fairway while ihatesocks ends up about 20 yards back, just in the first cut of rough. Both teams are still well setup for their second shots though, this is still anyone's hole!

Cleppy wisely chose this over that New Rochelles POS! This is another of those bands I always mean to check out but then forget to check out. The thing that sucks about writing this up the next day is I don't remember too many of the finer details of the songs, but I took notes! My notes say Clep = 7 so I'll interpret that as I liked this song pretty well and give it a 7!

Elliott made a smart choice here as well, though I only liked this song slightly more than the Copyrights song, I did give this a 7, resulting in a tie. How the fuck do tee shots in golf have a tie?! Ok, we'll say this, Elliott's ball lands directly on top of Cleptic's, causing both of them to go into the water hazard. Everyone stands around and is all "WTF?!?" so they both slog back to the tee box to do it again...results of that coming up in a moment....

Ooh, it's a hardcore song, and a real kick-you-in-the-nuts rocker of a hardcore song at that, especially after the shitty morning I've had here at work so far. I'll give this an 8!

Hey, it's another band I've read about on here but haven't heard before...let's see how many times I'll be typing that over the course of this thing...I bet it will be "a lot." One of the tags for this band on LastFM is "Ridiculously Awesome." I dunno about all that though, they're Ok enough but this sounds pretty generic to me. I'll give it a middle-of-the-road 5.

Ok, so after all that brou-ha-ha we have things settled. Cleptic and Noah are sitting pretty while Elliott and Wednesday find themselves playing their next shot from the rough.
