It's really good. In my experience Pentax AF has lagged behind Nikon and Canon in terms of performance, but the AF in the K5 is far superior than any Pentax I have ever used and on par with other brands. It's very good in low light with no hunting. It's also really good in terms of noise reduction at higher ISO settings. The interface is really well designed giving access to most features via a single button rather than having to dig through page after page of menu screens. This camera is light years better than the K10D; I should buy Katerina a gift for breaking it.

This is a photo of my step-father getting a ticket for running a red light. What's great about it is that's my dog's head hanging out the passenger's side. It was also 3:19 AM. Who knows what the fuck they were doing?

There are usually at least two or three pictures - one before you enter the intersection showing the light red (because if you're already in the intersection when the light changes it's not a violation), one showing you in the intersection and one clearly showing the license plate.

I finally got my 35mm camera working again so I took some pictures at Christmas. They came out very blue and cold but I kind of like how it worked with some of the shots. This one is my favorite of the whole bunch.
