Fuck hasn't paid me in two months and kept bringing over his girlfriend, blaring shitty rap music and now informs me that he is leaving. He was about to get his ass evicted anyway, but just the fact that he is sticking me with two months rent that I use for all the bills. I have jack shit for money now.

I'm not even a dick about the rent. If people don't give me the rent right away, or even within a couple of weeks, I don't make much of it. I'm lucky to have this place and the money I get is enough to pay the bills and still have enough for groceries, shows and such. I let people's friends stay over for fucking ever. I don't bitch if things are a mess cause what the fuck do I care. This is a great place to live if you'r ea bum. But pay me eventually, you fucking asshole.

This will happen to you at some point if you're the owner/the one on the lease and you live with people who aren't. It's the cost of doing business. Plan for it.

No catch. I'm a pretty decent guy to live with. My room smells like shit, but I keep the common areas pretty clean. Plus HD Cable with all the bells and whistles. It's also a good area, compared to the surrounding neighborhoods.

Also, I'm not sure where you live, but 325 in Buffalo is not like amazingly cheap. I know compared to rents in big cities like New York it's beautiful, but when the average person makes 25k a year instead of 50, rent is low.

Also, I really don't have a drinking problem. At home, I mostly do light drinking or other recreational drugs which tend to keep me quiet as opposed to loud and boisterous. It's social situations where I overdo shit.

This place is pretty excellent. Decent area, no structural problems, central air, spotless wood floors, two bathrooms, 4 bedrooms, laundry room. Everything operates fine. No drafty areas or what have you. It's a little slice of urban heaven.

I'm also pretty laissez-faire with what people do. Do drugs, have friends over, play your music loud. Just don't step on what I like to do.

I might start doing some house shows. There's enough space. I'm going to advertise the place cheaper to punk folks, since it's nice to live with like-minded individuals and perhaps have more encouragement for shows.

I would like to get a job. Any other semester I would jump out and grab a job at the local department store, but this semester is demanding.

So yeah, if you find yourself in Buffalo, there's a friendly place.
