first half of my bachelor party was a roast. it was awesome and i wish we'd have had the foresight to tape it, but didn't just in case anybody went too over the line (nobody did considering how far out the line was for most folks involved). there was then a strip club trip, but usually the only time you have to go through the whole called up on stage/whipped/humiliation schtick is if your groomsmen are assholes and order it ahead of time. either way congrats on the impending nuptials and good luck coming up with something cool to do.

Whoa....those alpin slides look awesome! That's a pretty sweet idea. I think I have seen one of those up by Duluth, MN/Superior, WI...but didn't really know wha they were.

The ones at Lutsen are waaaaaaay better. Wild Mountain is really fun but very short. Also, if you flip your sled you get terrible road roash (cough cough Kelly). It really is a blast, though.

I had a mantathalong - 14 friends competed in 10 events and I declard the 4 winners to be my best friends and got their faces tatooed on my back like Mt. Rushmore

events

1- retake sats (just 6 sections, finish as much as you can in an hour)
2- mile race
3 - louisville chugger competition
4 - boche ball tourny
5 - little league homerun derby
6 - make me a t shirt
7 - make me a 30 minute mix
8 - make me a piece of art in 30 minutes
9 - trivia about me
10 - buy me a present

then we had a barbeque and got wasted. no strippers, one of the best days of my life

This is something I need to figure out, too. I don't want some dumbass strip club bachelor party. I wanna do something rad. I would have love to rented out a suite at a Pacers game and done the pre-game hang out on the court gimmick, but its before the season will start. Lameballs.

They are right near a strip club too (Crusin' Chubbys). I think OilAndWater stayed there last year so you may want to ask him about it. Its not a "nice" campground in the traditional sense there are no woods, its an open field and you are crammed in there, and the prices are sky high. However you don't get those DNR nazis coming to your site at 10 pm reminding you of quiet time either. From what I gather there is no quiet time.

Also we did a guys weekend in the dells for a beer tasting on October and the Dells Cab company is pretty reasonable, especially with a large group. They have cargo vans that will hold like 8-10 guys and I think from our campground to downtown was 30 bucks for all 7 of us. Also the Ho Chunk casino has free shuttles to and from wherever you are staying, which is awesome.

Since you are into fishing NoahFex, have you considered Eagle River or Minocqua Wisconsin? We rented some cabins for my friend Tim's bachelor party. Most places rent boats too. Plus both downtown's have a lively bar scene in the warmer months. I'd give the edge to Minocqua because they have the Minocqua Brewing Company and Ottos, two of my favorite bars. You have Lake of the Torches casino nearby, strip clubs if it ends up going in that direction (there are two in Eagle River), fishing, and just lounging around drinking beer.
