Jughead's Podcast
« on: February 10, 2012, 08:53:43 PM »
Just released our first Podcast based on REBELLION.  We will be looking for band's music to use in the next podcast.  I will send out a message when we have come up with a theme for the next episode.

20 minutes in, i'm really enjoying the format, sounds like i'm listening to a lot of the same conflicts i have in my own head day-to-day.

Thanks Greg.  From being a Neo-Futurist for 15 years, we stress pulling material from our own lives, so it's difficult sometimes to try to make the personal interesting and in some ways universal.  Hopefully the rest holds up for you.

I'm unclear as to what it's about on reading the "write up".  Are there Cliff Notes or a Dummies book?

It would probably take less time just to listen to some of it.

its basically a project-style podcast based around two hosts who attempt to do complete tasks/assignments based on each show's theme. the first episode's theme was "rebellion".

so they decide on a project and then follow a time line?

they chose a topic, rebellion, in this case...they then document 30 days of meditating on the topic, seeing how it applies/plays out in their own lives, discussing it with others etc...the final product is less about the conclusions they have about the topic, and more about how they come to said conclusions...it is a little bit open ended and leaves a decent amount open to your own interpretation, associations, etc

it's not bad for a first attempt...it will be interesting to see how this develops as they continue and become more self aware of what the finished piece will look like

wouldn't any conclusion they come to be forced, since they picked a topic and specifically seek it's affects or outcomes?  so, then what is the point of studying "rebellion" when it's bottled, sold and half digested?

Yes, Harry, you are right, everyone should stop intentionally being creative, involving the meaning of words.  We should just stop using words, writing music using words, speaking on this board using words. ruvc  fjos d[o N  :S VIVdn F:g v RED
