SWAMP COMP 3
« on: February 21, 2012, 10:22:18 PM »
Ok so this time around I’m trying something different. Instead of pressing CD’s I printed post cards. This release is digital and the artwork is free if you want it. The majority of the bands on the comp will have the postcards on their merch tables, so that is the best place to get it. However the album is also available online. This is how it works, since I did this for the bands, if you want the songs paypal me any amount of money you feel this is worth. That means 1 penny, to whatever. The money I make will go towards paying myself back. If I don’t make it all back oh well. If I do I will either print more post cards or give it to the bands.

So send your donations to Swampcabbagerecords@yahoo.com

This is the track listing.

That Masked Intruder song is killer.

Mike Milbury's breath probably smells like coffee, pepperoni and Rick Dipietro.

This might be the best lineup on one of these comps yet.
But really, how respectable or legit can anything be without blowjobs?

Why not just put this up on bandcamp? People can pay whatever they want for it there and you can save the time and trouble of mailing the postcard. I mean, unless the postcard is somehow being thought of as a format worth owning the physical product for now...?

I've noticed that when you have something on a merch table people are more likely to download it. I'm not mailing out post cards, I'm only sending them to bands. Whem people send me a penny or a dollar or whatever I'm just sending them a download code. They are on post cards because I thought they were cool, but more importantly they happened to be cheaper than printing glossy flyers that size. I mean I probably will put it on bandcamp too, but like I said before this really is a free comp that will be on the bands merch tables and if someone wants to give them a dollar for it thats cool or if the bands wants to give it out for free thats cool too.

The cards for the merch table is a fine idea, but for all of us at home or whereever sitting on our computers, bandcamp would be rad. Just sayin'  ;D
