I'd have to go with "Mega Anal"...although "Suck" is a close second. Just wanted to see what everyone else thinks...

Gay is, indeed, totally gay. I'd say Suck is more consistent than Mega Anal, but the latter has the bigger hits.

"Gay" has some really really good songs, I think. The eleventh song where Norb keeps singing "Doesn't bother me" (sorry, I don't own the album), which I assume is a cover, is one of the better songs I have ever heard. I think all of Boris' stuff is super killer.

"Little Yellow Box" is the best single, though.

Mega Anal... Saucer to Saturn isn't bad either, except the songs are 150% better live when they speed them up.

My most favorite Boris release is that Frozen Tundra thing though... genius.

"Mega Anal" is the best album, but "Suck" and "Frozen Tundra" are also great.

Someone should do a singles comp...that would be the one to get...almost every 7" is great.

Mega Anal narrowly defeats Suck and Saucer to Saturn. A third of the songs on Gay are just that. The best single is Little Yellow Box.

The best comp song is "Sharona Made my Head Hurt Yeah"

I didn't buy Gay as it was CD only, but I'd rank the ones I do have as:

1. Mega Anal
2. Suck
3. 8 Testicled Pogo Machine - the variety more than makes up for the duds on this one
4. Saucer to Saturn - they played it pretty vanilla on this one. Strong songwriting, but a little too structured for a Boris album
5. End of the Century - COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME!

Chillax, dog. Their version of "Rock n' Roll Radio" is pretty hot, as is "Baby, I Love You." It's a shitty album to cover, so you can't really expect much more.

End of the Century isnt a "shitty" album...nor is it the best Ramones album (that would be the s/t or Leave Home)....but Boris do a FANTASTIC job with it and come out with the second best Ramones cover album (first being the Vindictives "Leave Home" of course).
