I thought you were talking about Trusty.  Great band, I caught them live once, lots o fun.  

Fugazi is amazing.  I personally like everything they stand for, but even if you don't, you gotta admit that they are all jaw dropping, energetic musicians that are fairly innovative.  I was always ho-hum about them until I saw 'Instrument'.  Amazing.  

The biggest problem I see is when anyone thinks of DC, they think of Fugazi, hence anytime someone says a band sounds like DC, they mean they sound like Fugazi.  It's always seemed to be a pretty vibrant place with a large diverse scene, but maybe I'm just naive.  Most bands on Dischord at least somewhat sound like Fugazi.  

So uh, Crown Hate Ruin rules!
