I can't help but wonder if Tom really is a Republican or not.  I'll admit - he's got me puzzled on that.

i started listening to the show last week after it was talked about in that other thread. so far i have listened to the 4 most recent shows. i love how during some calls it seems like Tom is the guest instead of the host. he will continue to ask the caller questions even when it seems like they need to run or dont want to talk anymore.

He was interviewed on a 'talk show' (Bro'in Out).  He gave anyone in the audience who admitted to being a Mets fan cake (like me).  He gave anyone in the audience who was apathetic about sports ice cream bars.  He gave Yankee fans nothing.  Unfortunately, the time taken up giving out all this food resulted in him not talking very much.  He read some of the hate mail he's received, most of it from when he said he was leaving WFMU to go to Sirius.

Yeah, he used to claim that Little Steven was taking him under his wing so he had to leave WFMU. It's was dragged out for a month. It was so early on in my listening to the show that I sort of thought he really was leaving. Of course, it was all a joke. He came back the following week and pretty much cried through the entire episode. Oh, that reminds me! He sang an entire Kelly Clarkson song was that was gold. I need to look that one up.
