I received Poppy Robbie's Swamp Thing piece in the mail today! It's so beautiful. The box had little wood crumblies in it, so you know this shit is legit. This is among my prized possessions now and will get a prominent spot in my new apartment. Thank you Robbie!!

Oh, awesome! I was worried about the pieces of bark getting everywhere, hopefully it wasn't a big mess. I still have pieces here and there in the carpet from when I took the shrink wrap off the wood block (I bought the block from an art store a couple years back, not even sure if they sell those things anymore haha). But, yeah! So thrilled that this thing went to someone who appreciates it. Thanks again, sir!

Sort of. In my Materials and Lighting class, we briefly discussed IOR and my professor listed a few for things like glass and water. For some reason, 2.42 for diamonds always stuck in my head.
