Ok, there is a back story to my dinner.
I was running today when a bug flew out of nowhere and INTO my right eye. I rubbed my eye and could kind of see him stuck to my eyelashes. (Think Aeon Flux intro). Then I rubbed my eyes and he was no longer in vision. I ran for a few more miles, high fiving some other runners that I passed. Then I went back to my school, and ended up getting sucked into a conversation with a co-worker, and decided it was too late to worry about hitting up the grocery store for some lettuce (I was going to make myself a salad to go with my dinner), and that it would also be late to start dinner. I planned to get Taco Bell instead. Now, the Taco Bell is about 2 miles down the road from me, so I would pass my house, and go to the drive thru, and then go home and eat. Well, I was about a mile from my house and was stopped in traffic. I looked into the review mirror and noticed the BODY SECTION OF THE BUG trapped in the white part of my eye. I had contacts in, so I carefully tried to kind of touch that part of my eye to hope the bug would stick to my finger. It didn't work out. Traffic started moving again, and I had to start driving again. I was really grossed out and tried to just rub my eye while driving, but that didn't seem to dislodge the remains of the insect. I finally decided I NEEDED to get home, take my contact out, and then try to get the bug remains out of my eye. I had to kind of poke around (GROSS!) and I was concerned that the bug corpse would go under an eyelid, or beneath my eye ball. Finally, I trapped it in that part nearest to your nose and it came out. I was too grossed out and tired, so I just made microwave chimichangas, and had a side of potato chips. Yuck!
