Ace of Cakes Fills My Soul With Joy

I'm miserable every second of every day... except when I'm watching Ace of Cakes. Why does this show please me so? I just go numb when it's on, and then when it's over my face hurts because I smiled throughout the entire episode. It's not that interesting. Geof's voice puts me in a trance, I think.

I love the show - it has really grown on me.

It does seem fun to work there, or at least what they show on TV...however it seems somewhat disorganized and it appears that they work 23423 hours a week and I wonder if the pay is commensurate with the hours.

yeah and im sure it is very tedious and definitely a lot of stress to get things done on time.  but it just looks so cool.  building a cake looks awesome.

With each cake costing a minimum of $1000, I would think they could pay people decently.
They had the time around insub fest this year available (last time I randomly looked), it would be rad to get a fest cake for the people who do it but we would need like 500 people to go in on it.
