No one buy Alpha Girl #1.  Holy shit.  Worst comic I've bought maybe ever.
Just read this...i agree, ugh.
But really, how respectable or legit can anything be without blowjobs?

I remember that Jason Aaron piece being controversial.  Whatever, Alan Moore is an insane asshole.  No one can deny that.  But who cares?  That only clouds the quality of his work if you let it.  He's still the single greatest comic writer of all time.
Yeah danzig and jerry only are shitheads but the misfits are still great.

It was certainly bad, but not the worst of all time. Close though.
Unfortunately, I'm not interested in having a good time.

Just finished Top 10.  Pretty cool.  The wrap ups were a little rushed, though I don't know if most of it was intended to be funny.  I really like the world and the characters that were created, the stories were ok too, if you're expecting it to play out like a cop show instead of a superhero comic.

It's definitely meant to be funny!  If you want more, there was also a Forty-Niners miniseries, and a Smax miniseries, both also written by Moore.

Yeah, they were plugged at the end of issue #12.  I might check out the Smax thing.

now it's time for V For Vendetta or League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.  I've seen both movies but never read the comics.

TFAW is having a sale on back issues too plus free shipping if purchase is over $50.
I got like thirty something issues of hellboy and bprd for less than $2 each.

I definitely didn't just buy like $25 in $.89 Buffy back issues. NOPE.

Yes after the first 5 issues I went and downloaded all of them to get up to date. I'm on #16 now. I really didn't think I was going to enjoy it much because I've heard a lot of hype but it's certainly living up to it.

I was going to buy a bunch of One Piece, which all y'all should read, it rules, from TFAW but I'd get a better deal with Amazon's 4-for-3 and Prime shipping

And I can't think of anything else I want that I wouldn't just steal

So about that new Avengers teaser that was on during the Super Bowl... it looks great. But Hawkeye and Black Widow look so out of place standing next to the other real superheroes.

Holy shit. $50 got me 149 comics today. Some pretty sweet stuff I think. Lots of Batman, Amazing Spiderman, Unknown Soldier, Ultimate Spiderman, and a shit ton of other stuff.  There's a few back issues that I need to hunt down to fill some gaps in certain story arcs, but I don't think that should be too hard to do. STOKED. Maybe I'll make a list of the shit I got later.
I call the little circle the butt hole.  That's where the poop comes out.
