I also want to see both of these! I will secretly watch them at home when I am alone, like I do with the twilight movies.

not this time!  this time you'll see them in theaters with me and we'll eat popcorn.
Why are you're being blithely, ignorantly argumentative?

ahem, i mentioned St Ives and Desert Essence.  thanks for not noticing me, BenTM!

Alberto V05 is also a super cheap shampoo that doesn't test on animals.

You know, I did notice and actually went back to post right after my first post, but I didn't want to seem like I was being preachy about it.  I just wanted to throw it out there as something to consider, that's all.

:(

I looked around our cabinets last night and a few more brands are Yes To Carrots (and Tomatoes and Cucumbers), VO5 (Ashley covered this one, but it's the shampoo I normally use... It's like $0.89 a bottle or something crazy cheap),  Bert's Bees, Organix, Clinique make-up, Whole Foods 365 brand stuff, Body Shop, Bath & Body Works, and... I can't remember any more.
All sandals ever are bad news. Even Jesus looked like a dick in them.

I buy cruelty free whenever possible, but I find that the poorer we get, the less discerning I get to be with my purchases.  I still do my best, but sometimes I just have to make do.

Mascara is pretty much where I've given up altogether.  I've tried SO MANY and hate them all, so when I find one that's decent that I can afford (aka not $16 a tube like Clinique), I just have to take it.

I kind of want to see Chronicle just because Wallace from the Wire was in the commercial for, like, half a second.

It's weird you guys were talking about Drew Barrymore. It's totally not the reason I talked about her in my thread.

So spending tons of money of that face stuff is working. My mom said my skin is like white ( meaning porcelain). I'll take it. On a side note I cut my fingers 35904584398x's packing. Cold hands and struggling to close a suitcase is a horrible mix.

Speaking of toiletries, I like Trader Joe brand stuff alot. I use their shampoo and toothpaste. It's pretty cheap and vegan and biodegradable. Method is another good, cheap option. I use Nature's Gate stuff a lot too, but it's a little pricier.

I need to start getting better cosmetics, but I dread buying them so much. I've used the same exact brands/formulas since high school.

Michelle, you will either love living together or not I guess, I took it as a good sign that we liked staying together.
For storing stuff, it is amazing what a good shelf with tons of (decorative/whatever) boxes can do.

i didn't watch last night's SNL but someone on facebook just showed me the downton abbey sketch.  it's pretty funny.

downton abbey, through the eyes of Spike tv:

http://newsfeed.time.com/2012/02/05/snls-5-best-skits-downton-gets-the-spike-treatment-newt-goes-to-the-moon/#downton-abbey-on-spike-tv

Best Line: What’s Downton Abbey? Basically it’s about a bunch of honkies that live in a church. Or maybe it’s a museum. Either way, they don’t got wi-fi.

i only got one of the shirts i wanted when we stopped at target yesterday.

this one:

i was so pissed but then i looked on ebay when i got home and tons of stuff was up there with few bids (fuck these assholes who buy everything and then put it on ebay for 5x the cost).  i bid low on a dress and a bag and WON!  Hahahahaha, in your face you ebay hoarders.  So I spent like 20 extra dollars but whatever.  The shipping was free at least.

I hope the people who expect $125 for a $40 dress start lowering their prices as this happens more and more.

I got this dress:

And this bag:

goddamn i forgot about the jason wu line launch.  i wanted that dress you picked up, crystal.  i've been gawking at it every time the commercial comes on and now target says it's pretty much sold out in all the nyc targets.

yeah, and nj.

it may be the first time being fat has been great because in smaller sizes the  dress is going for way more money on ebay.  i got it for 55 bucks which is still annoying but it was worth it to me i guess.

I wanted so many of those Jason Wu dresses but the necklines were all shifty and boatnecky and none of those are conducive to whipping a boob out, so they would have just gathered dust in my closet forever, anyways.  Plus, I still think they all kinda look like you need to have a waist to wear them, which I don't.
