Hello. Ladies and Gentlemen. If you are reading this, chances are good, you still care about Fake Baseball. We have our own section now, we expanded, we added free agent budget and player salaries this year. This was a big year for Fake Baseball. Some may say too big! That is why we gather today, to celebrate the excesses of Fake Baseball. What could be more excessive than an All-Star Game!?! Let's get this underway!

I'm really happy to see all the players showed up for the All Star game. I was sure at least 2 or 3 would opt out due to "injuries".

milo - Frank Turner - Thatcher Fucked The Kids - oh boy, this is a solo folk punk from the UK last.fm is telling me. +1 for authentic british accent -1 for that solo folk punk way of folling out the guitar sound, its so cliched +1 for interesting lyrics so far dream 1st pitch? not likely but it will do perhaps 6/10

m welch - jay reatard - Not a Substitute - not my favorite song on the album, but this is pretty good, this suffers slightly from sounding exactly like a Jay Reatard song 7/10

Milo got the memo that the fans want to see some excitement in today's game. Perhaps a high-scoring affair is in order! M Welch stares down the pitch and slaps a grounder towards right field. Coming over from 1st, Dan Bress makes a diving stop coming up with the ball and flipping it to Milo but M Welch uses his ridiculous giraffe legs to get to the bag first.

Milo - Nirvana - Polly This is the Unplugged in New York version. Now don't get me wrong, I like this song and all, but this version. Is this going to be Dentist's Office music in 10 years? Still, this is a good song, I just wish it was a little more raw. Still, that's a K 8/10

Milo - Green Day - At The Library Milo came to pitch today. This is a totally pop punk pitch. After some deliberation this one's an 8/10

Shotzi - K!

Shotzi comes to the plate to the sounds of Ennio Morricone's A Fistful of Dollars. The seldom-seen Chin steps in the batter's box and proceeds to work Milo to a full count. Check-swing and the 3rd base ump says he went. Another K for Milo.

Milo - Lemuria - Dog - this intro is a bit slow? yes? you think? I think. It is repeated throughout the song and serves its purpose but those bends just take me out of context for a second. Everything else about this song I find completely enjoyable but that one part just... 7/10

Greg - Even In Blackouts - One Fine Day Oh Shit Greg. Shit, really? I was all ready to be in a pissy mood today and you go and put this out there? Seriously? 9/10

Greg comes up and is all Canadian. Milo makes a perfectly fine pitch and Greg just smashes it down the left field line into the corner. M Welch has been eating his Wheaties in preparation for this game and sprints around to score. Greg is standing on 2nd.

1-0 Runner on 2nd. 2 Outs.
