How's the quitting smoking coming along? How many packs a day did you used to smoke? I am thinking of quitting myself.

I had one yesterday.  I'm bummed about that, but before that I went 9 days, so I don't see it as that huge of a setback.

I got really drunk on the 4th of July and started smoking and then quit the next day. I've only had one cigarette since then, but it's been pretty rough so I totally know how you guys feel.

don't worry jim you're old enough that even if they die of cancer from smoking that you'll be long dead and buried first. I hope that helps you find comfort.

Hi bored. One of my friends died.  We weren't super close, but we were part of a pretty tight knit community. We played some shows together and stuff. We were supposed to record a song together, but never did. I'm not sure what to bring to the funeral.  Would it be appropriate to show up with some chips and dip?  Should I just pick up some pastries?  How about cash or a gift card?  Too tacky?
