I myself just got into them about a month ago while looking for new music to put on my IPOD for a plane ride to London.  A cross between the Loved Ones/Pinhead Gunpowder/Ataris to me.

I enjoy the lyrics myself.  Good band overall.

Their names are Ty, Matt, and Josh.  Their Roadie is also named Matt.  Ty and Josh are from Rainier OR, Matt is from Longview WA.  These two towns are pretty much the same town, but have the columbia river in between them.  They like what they do and work really hard, and are getting some success from it.  This is good because they're super nice dudes.  Possibly the nicest dudes I've met in the punk thing.

Probably the most important thing you need to know about BC is that they are managed by Green Day's manager.  At least that's the nerdy, nuts and bolts stuff that guys like me are into.  They just plucked the band out of nowhere and are 99% responsible for everything they've got.  That sounds a lot harsher than I mean it to sound, but that's just how shit gets done in the music world today.  I've heard tons of great things about them as people and hope they get huge.

They had plenty going on before magnarella picked them up.  Most of what has been going down is because Kevin Lyman really fucking dug them, they may not have jumped as quick but I still believe they would have been picked up by great management & a great label.

EXACTLY.
If they didn't get picked up by him they would have gotten somewhere else, their first album came out on a label located about a half hour from my house...neat.
I still don't have that album though, they don't play anything off it anymore though I don't think.

Again, I'm not trying to take anything away from them, they're a good enough band, but you're really naive if you think they have all this money behind them because they "work hard".  Lotsa bands work and tour harder than BC, but it doesn't mean shit.  Don't get me wrong, I'm glad it's them and not some screamo band or whetever.  There's nothing evil about getting a few breaks, I say good for them.  I'm actually jealous!

I haven't heard much from them, but everything I have heard is fuckin crucial as hell.

Mainly their splits with TBR and The Riot Before.  Good stuff.
