this is on AMC right now. i sort of love this movie way too much. probably from it coming out when i was 7. shit's heartbreaking, yo? no peter pan in never never land? how could that happen? there's some definite corny stuff in this movie, but i still love it. awesome story. i like the lost boys in this a lot, too. but the no peter pan thing will probably bum me out for a while.

i forgot how great julia roberts is in this. she steals this shit. i like hoffman. robin williams is meh, which is better than usual. peter's little boy is annoying as fuck, though.

I was shocked to learn that many people hate this movie and consider it one of Spielberg's worst. I've always loved it.

Has anyone read the pieces written on this movie that say it's basically a chimo jerk flick? Pretty intresting!

I've always loved Hook, still watch it more often than the Sandlot. That's a lot.

everytime we go to my grandma's house (once a year or whatever) we end up watching this on vhs. most of the tapes there were recorded off tv and are super shitty. this is one that she actually bought and it still plays good.

I hate the Rufio character and the "hipness" of the Lost Boys in general.
Other than that, I like the movie. The costumes and production design are amazing and it was a really good concept with some great casting choices.
I kinda wished it had remained a musical (or at least that they put out some sort of special edition, reinserting all the songs they shot and scrapped).

Now... the 2003 live action Peter Pan with Lynn Redgrave and Jason Isaacs... THAT is a really great Peter Pan movie that did not get nearly the audience it deserved. That is a near perfect movie with GREAT Lost Boys.
