Nobody is taking advantage of the Ergs Q&A, so I guess I'll start.

When I was on tour a little over 2 years ago, we stayed in Chicago with The Safes for 2 days. The bedroom I was in had a broken window, and we were told that you guys had been there like a week before and had gotten locked out, so you had to break a window to get in. I guess I don't really have a question here after all. But those Safes are some seriously nice guys aren't they?

See, I remember not breaking any of their windows.  I think the Safes' house had an unusually sticky door that just took us forever to get into (none of the Safes were staying there that night, only us and Hunchback).  Maybe we did wind up cracking a window, I dunno.  But yes, The Safes, both the band and the people contained therein, are fucking awesome.  Their last couple of records have been great and I wish more people listened to them.

I haven't had Micky D's in a over a decade.  Jeff would eat McDonald's from time to time.  In general, our favorite fast food place on tour was Fazzoli's.  One could probably find better marinara sauce in Alaska, but it was a quantity over quality situation.  They had a lunch meal at a Fazol's for $5 which included unlimited breadsticks.  We'd fill up on the breadsticks and then more than likely would not need to eat again all day.  Other than that, it was usually Waffle House, region permitting.
