The Layton games are seriously awesome. I recommend them highly! There are lots of good puzzle games for the DS: Tetris, Puzzle Quest, Picross, etc. For adventurey games, I recommend the Phoenix Wright games, Trace Memory, or Hotel Dusk.

On the Wii: um, i haven't turned this shit on in a while. the only time i can think of using it will probably involve people coming over to hang out, in which case guitar hero will be busted out. i still need to play zelda and lego star wars, but i just haven't gotten around to it. i plan to buy bully at some point.

On the 360: i have been playing a lot of NHL 09 and fight night round 3 (not round 4, because i am too cheap to buy new games at full price). i am counting down the minutes until mass effect 2 comes out, and i also downloaded a few demos the other day that i plan to play (ghostbusters, batman, nhl 10, etc.). i may start looking for cheap copies of assassin's creed on ebay too, as that looked kinda cool. were fable and oblivion any good? those are on my list too.

I play Madden 10 all the time! I got Wii Sports Resort and it was fun, but then I hated how much better the control was, it fucked my bowling technique all up! The next time I am at a place that sells such things I will probably pick up Scribblenauts.

I've also been playing a hack of Super Mario World called Brutal Mario. It's fucking ridiculous.

My girlfriend is talking about buying a blue ray dvd player...she doesn't play video games. But I am pushing her towards a PS3 because then I can play video games at her house and then her next boyfriend can thank me too!

yeah, i figure that i just need to play them longer, and then i will get sucked in. i am lazy though.

also, ps3 is totally the way to go! if she gets one, you may want to consider marrying her though. don't let that opportunity get away!

You know what fucking feature I would love for future Madden installments? If they could say the fucking names of your made-up franchises! I mean there is a list of the cities you can move to, how hard, especially now with the ps3 and its blu-ray 25GB blah blah blahs to get the announcers to just say the names of the other 30 cities you move to instead of this "the home team" bullshit. I mean I am all for being able to name my team the Fargo Fuckfaces or whatever you want, but I would just love if the names it gives you could at least be said.

Muramasa: The Demon Blade for Wii is okay. The level design pisses me off though. It's like they designed a hand full of areas and then just randomly spread them around the world map.

I tried starting this up several months ago and it was so slow it was almost unplayable. I seem to remember it slogging down more and more the longer I played...
